Jordan Chiles is an artistic gymnast who has been a member of the United States women's national gymnastics team since 2013. Chiles represented the United States at the 2020 Summer Olympics, securing a silver medal in the team event. She continued to represent the United States at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where she aided the team in winning a gold medal. In addition to her Olympic successes, Chiles was part of the team that took home gold at the 2022 World Championships, and she also won individual silver medals in both the vault and floor categories in the same year.

Chiles's career is marked by a strong international presence. She made her senior international debut at the Stuttgart World Cup in 2018, where she secured third place overall. In the same year, she won team gold, as well as individual gold on vault and floor exercise and bronze on the balance beam at the Pacific Rim Championships. Other notable victories include becoming the first-ever women's all-around Winter Cup champion in 2021 and securing second place in the all-around at the U.S. Classic later that same year behind teammate Simone Biles. Chiles's contribution to the United States' gymnastics success extended into 2023 when she participated in the Pan American Games, helping the team secure a gold medal and earning an individual bronze medal in the all-around competition.

In addition to her international and national achievements, Chiles has also excelled in her collegiate career. She joined the UCLA Bruins gymnastics team in December 2021 after signing her National Letter of Intent with UCLA in November 2018. During her time with the Bruins, Chiles has scored multiple perfect 10.0 scores on the floor exercise and uneven bars in NCAA competitions and has won two Pac-12 titles and two NCAA championships. Furthermore, Chiles made her mark in the media in 2023 and 2024, appearing as herself in episodes of the TV shows "Bunk'd" and "The Tiny Chef Show" respectively. Her upcoming book, "I'm That Girl: Living the Power of My Dreams" chronicles her unlikely path to the podium—including the unprecedented challenges, the joy of winning, the crushing pain of defeat, and the love and support of her devoted family and teammates that helps her stay strong.
