Jordan Lally
Executive Director of The Ed Lally Foundation; Mental Health Advocate, Meditation Teacher & Singer-Songwriter
Jordan Lally is a speaker, singer-songwriter, meditation teacher, and founder of the Ed Lally Foundation. Through his music, teachings, and community outreach, Lally seeks to inspire and empower individuals, families, and communities to adopt a proactive approach to mental health through accessible, evidence-based practices of self-healing, stigma-shattering self-expression, and interpersonal connection. As a songwriter, Lally has penned over 200 songs across various genres while serving as frontman for the Big Infinite and Fiction 20 Down. Lally and his bandmates have released numerous studio albums, toured extensively throughout the U.S., and charted in the top 10 on iTunes.
Lally currently serves as the Executive Director of the Ed Lally Foundation, collaborating on suicide prevention initiatives with organizations like the AFSP, leading group meditation classes for diverse populations ranging from mental health professionals to the recovery community, and facilitating mental wellness & suicide loss support groups and retreats for those in and around his hometown in northern Maryland. On behalf of the Ed Lally Foundation, Lally and his bandmates crafted "Power of Expression," a one-of-a-kind mental wellness and suicide prevention “storytellers’ concert” that he and Big Infinite have shared at schools, military bases, and mental health conferences up and down the East Coast. In 2023, mental health documentarian Greg Dicharry turned "Power of Expression" into a feature documentary, which quickly became a finalist in numerous film festivals, including the Mental Health & Suicide Awareness Festival. The documentary incarnation of "Power of Expression" has allowed Lally’s music & mental health message to begin spreading nationwide. In 2024, filmmaker Tommy Duncan created a short film entitled "Not Alone" that explores Lally’s healing perspective relative to mental health and suicide bereavement.
