Jordan Ligons Robinson is a prolific freelance journalist, host, and podcaster based in Los Angeles, California. She covers women’s basketball, pop culture, and their intersections. Robinson is a host for Women’s Sports Network and a host & analyst for Pac-12 Network’s women’s basketball coverage. Additionally, she co-hosts the podcast Queens of the Court with Sheryl Swoopes and hosts a weekly WNBA YouTube show called The Buckets Five with Wave Sports + Entertainment’s BUCKETS. She’s been published in GQ, ESSENCE, The Ringer, Romper, and more.

In 2016, Robinson graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University, where she was a four-year letterer for the women’s basketball team, with a degree in journalism.

Her journalism career started with an internship at San Diego Magazine. Then she earned her first job as an editor for LOCALE Magazine in Orange County. After working her way up to senior editor, she decided to pursue sports journalism by taking the position of fact-checker and writer for The Ringer in 2018.

Robinson was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in her early twenties. She has partnered with JDRF, the world’s leading diabetes research foundation, which has given her a platform to share her experiences living with Type 1 diabetes and an opportunity to interview other athletes living with the disease.
