Jordan Rubin

Born and raised on Manhattan's lower-east side, Jordan decided to stay in the city after graduating from New York University's school of dramatic writing.

It was there, in New York, that Jordan soon became a regular on the stand-up comedy circuit and developed an act that he describes as "a calculated series of anecdotes, quips and witticisms fused together with a barrage of subtle pop-culture references in a desperate attempt to get laid"

Having just returned from HBO's US Comedy Arts Festival, Jordan has also appeared on NBC's "Comedy Showcase," MTV's "Apartment 2F," Comedy Central's "Make Me Laugh," and USA's "Up All Night."  He has written for Comedy Central, "The Friar's Club Annual Roast: Kelsey Grammer," and "The Friar's Club Roasts Marv Albert."  Chip Deffaa of the New York Post said that the comedian "intrigued," noting in his column that Jordan's show will "make you want to hear more."
