Director; Best Known for "The Kings of Summer"

Jordan Vogt-Roberts is a film and television director and screenwriter.

In 2017, Vogt-Roberts directed the MonsterVerse film Kong: Skull Island. Vogt-Roberts' feature directorial debut, The Kings of Summer, screened at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where it was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize, and also at the 2013 Cleveland International Film Festival. The film won the Narrative Feature Audience Award at the 2013 Dallas International Film Festival.

Previously, Vogt-Roberts directed the acclaimed short film Successful Alcoholics, which premiered at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival and subsequently screened at more than 30 festivals worldwide including SXSW and AFI.

He is the creator and director of the Comedy Central television show Mash Up.Vogt-Roberts started his career producing and directing episodes of two web series, Memoirs of a Manchild (2009-2010) and Book Club (2009-2013) and directing nearly all the episodes of the web series Single Dads (2009-2011).

His award-winning work on the Web and with branded content has reached millions of viewers and launched a career in commercials.
