Joseph Aldy  

Professor of Public Policy at Harvard; Former Assistant to the President for Energy & Environment; Climate Change Researcher

Joseph Aldy is an associate professor of public policy at Harvard Kennedy School, a University Fellow at Resources for the Future, a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and a senior advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies. His research focuses on climate change and energy policy. He’s also faculty chair of the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government Regulatory Policy Program. Aldy was special assistant to the president for energy and the environment in 2009 and 2010. Previously, he co-directed the Harvard Project on International Climate Agreements, co-directed the International Energy Workshop, and was a staff member of the Council of Economic Advisers.
