Joseph Lubin is co-founder of Ethereum and founder and CEO of ConsenSys, a blockchain technology company. Since 2014, he has built infrastructure, developer tools, and decentralized applications on the Ethereum platform, whose Ether cryptocurrency is the second-largest by market capitalization. Lubin previously served as vice president of technology in private wealth management at Goldman Sachs, director of the New York office of Blacksmith Software Consulting, and worked with eMagine on the Identrus cryptographic payments and trade finance network project. He has also worked on music industry projects in Jamaica and at Tomandandy, developing an autonomous music composition tool. Lubin serves on the governing board of Hyperledger, the Linux Foundation-led blockchain consortium.
