5-Time Olympic Medalist & Motivational Speaker

Despite a late start into the sport of swimming, Josh Davis made history by becoming the only man to win 3 Gold Medals at the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympic Games. Four years later as Captain of the 2000 Sydney Olympic Team Davis broke the American Record 3 times in his signature event the 200m freestyle. For 25 years now, Davis has lead a nation-wide tour of Olympic swimmers called the BREAKout! Swim Clinic Tour. He speaks to groups all over the country on how perseverance, pursuing excellence and attitude can turn the ordinary into extra-ordinary. Davis also hosts a popular podcast called Ultimate Swimmer that has interviewed hundreds of the top swimmers in the world.

Still practicing what he preaches Davis just recently became the fastest man ever over 40 years old as he set National Records in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 Freestyle. Josh Davis lives in Edmond, OK with his wife and 6 growing kids.

Leadership: Making every body on the team a captain

Josh was captain of the first USA junior team in 1989 at the age of 16. He was elected captain of his high school team in 1990 at 17, then his college team in '94 at age 21, then was co-captain of the USA swim Team for 3 years from '97 to 2000. Josh shares his principles of leadership that anybody can apply to achieve maximum effectiveness for a group striving for peak performance.
