Cornerback for the Washington Redskins

Josh Norman is an American football player who plays cornerback for the Washington Redskins, a team part of the National Football League. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers after playing college football at Coastal Carolina. He also was the runner-up on the 26th season of the show Dancing with the Stars.

Norman was offered a walk-on spot at Coastal Carolina in 2008. During his freshman season, he played in all 12 games and started in seven games. He was awarded a scholarship by the school following his success that season. The following year, he was named a third-team All-American player by the Associated Press. His junior season, he was named first team All-Big South. Norman tired for second in the school's history with 11 interceptions and 23 pass breakups.

Norman participated in both the East-West Shrine Game and the 2012 Senior Bowl. In the 2012 NFL draft, he was selected by the Carolina Panthers. He became an unrestricted free agent in April 2016 and was signed by the Washington Redskins.
