Former Linebacker for Ohio State and the San Diego Chargers & CEO of the Joshua Perry Family Foundation

Joshua Perry is a retired linebacker for Ohio State University, the San Diego Chargers, the Indianapolis Colts and the Seattle Seahawks.

A Fourth Round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Perry was the San Diego Chargers leading tackler on special teams as a rookie. The two-time All-Big Ten performer played in 15 games and made one start. He had a season-high 6 stops vs. Kansas City. He was waived by the Chargers on September 9, 2017 and signed to the Colts practice squad on September 18th the same year. He spent time on the Colts practice squad and active roster during the season. Signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract in January 2018. He has since retired.

He is also the Founder and CEO of the Joshua Perry Family Foundation, a non-profit organization launched in March 2018 with the objective of inspiring our youth to recognize and utilize their God-given gifts to maximize their potential. He works closely with the Autism Speaks Organization and featured the Autism Puzzle Piece design on his cleats during the My Cause – My Cleats campaign. His younger brother – Jahred – has a mild form of autism. Perry has also spent time with young cancer patients and visited Costa Rica in 2015 to help deliver shoes to children from deprived neighborhoods.
