Josie has 20 years experience in the FMCG, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices industry where as a board director of Beiersdorf AG she was responsible for maximising revenue and profitability. Her particular expertise and passion lies in the area of people and organisational development. With a philosophy that an organisation can only reach its full potential through developing and motivating its people.

In the area of leadership development, Josie has helped clients understand the leadership qualities required to enable them to realise their company vision, and provided performance coaching, facilitation and tools such as 360 appraisal to encourage and develop their leadership qualities in line with corporate values.

Using tools and techniques such as Myers Briggs, 16 PF Personality Profile, Emotional Intelligence, Hogan DARK side, Profile:Match and Action Learning she has worked at all levels to help improve the effectiveness of individuals, teams and inter-dependent teams, providing coaching on a one to one basis and facilitating group workshops.

Josie has coached and facilitated executive, director and management teams to manage the introduction of major new cultural change programmes. She is a strong communicator with excellent inter-personal skills, and a proven ability to facilitate and coach individuals and teams at all levels. She is a clear, practical thinker, able to see the whole picture, and take people, concepts and ideas into action through organised planning and delivery of projects.

Josie has a diploma in business performance coaching from Strathclyde University; The British Psychological Society Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing (level A & B Intermediate Level):B.Ed in Primary School Education and is licensed to administer and interpret MBTI (steps 1 & 2); 16 Personality Factors: Hay McBer Emotional Intelligence Competence Inventory & 360 Leadership Styles: Hay Influencing Styles Model; Strengths Deployment Inventory; The Hogan Personality Series.

As a professional speaker and a member of the Professional Speakers Association, Josie talks about the role she played during an air hijack in Dubai in 1974. This is a story of leadership,survival instinct,resilience, conflict management and has driven her on to become a successful woman in business.
