As a Venezuelan Economist and Lawyer from Universidad Metropolitana, I became passionate about the development of Smart Cities in Venezuela and Latin America, especially in the field of transportation, as a way to generate economic growth and improve the quality of life in urban environments. As a tech pioneer in the ITS industry, I began with a group of friends, Grupo InTech, with the goal of becoming the leading organization in the development of Intelligent Transport Systems in the region. We have expanded over the years, developing solutions that range from a Dynamic Traffic Light Management Software to a Big-Data Platform for Real-Time Traffic Information for road users. With over 30 people in staff we have implemented our solutions in the main Venezuelan cities, achieving important results in reducing congestion and travel times.
