Judith Samuelson is a vice president at the Aspen Institute and founder and executive director of its Business and Society Program. In this position, she has been at the forefront of fresh thinking about the purpose and impact of business for two decades. Through well-crafted dialogue, leadership opportunities, networks, and commentary in leading media, Samuelson and her Aspen colleagues challenge business executives to place long-term, responsible decision-making at the heart of business practice.

Samuelson’s work experience spans the business, government, and nonprofit sectors. Previously, she served as director of the Office of Program-Related Investments at the Ford Foundation and helped launch the Corporate Involvement Initiative, encouraging private-nonprofit partnerships.
