Judith Grunert  

Professor, Syracuse University

Judy works with Syracuse University department and program faculty, department chairs, and college deans to improve student learning through course and curriculum design, and program evaluation. Her interests center on the ways that faculty can help students become the agents of their own learning, and she published The Course Syllabus: A Learning-Centered Approach and a recent chapter Course Design for Large Classes for M. Erin Porter and Christine A. Stanley's book, Engaging Large Classes to support faculty in their efforts. She has coordinated and contributed to the design and development of national projects for higher education, for government, and not-for-profit organizations. A former member of the Syracuse University faculty in The College of Visual and Performing Arts, she joined the Center in 1995 and is currently completing doctoral studies Instructional Design, Development & Evaluation.
