Julia Hood is editor-in-chief of PRWeek and editorial director of DM News, both publications of Haymarket Media. She was appointed editor of PRWeek in 2002, and under her leadership, the publication relaunched both the print and Web editions of the title. Hood has introduced numerous brand extensions, including the PRWeek Career Guide, the Marketing Management Survey, regional forums and events such as editorial webcasts and marketing conferences. Hood speaks frequently to groups of marketers and communicators on topics such as integrated marketing, new media and corporate reputation. She has also commented on these issues for CNBC and CNN.
