She was the first woman chosen to attend the prestigious statewide Valley Leadership program, a year-long training effort to prepare people to take leadership positions in Arizona. A leadership practitioner, she has helped to improve Arizona's government, private institutions, business climate, and most importantly its people. As an example, at one point in her illustrious career she was the Executive Director of Project Prevention, which served 600,000 Arizona children. Because of her leadership and giving spirit, along with her extensive track record in business, government, education, health care, social services and the media, she was recognized and honored as Arizona's WOMAN OF THE YEAR, 2003.

Julia is truly an angel here on earth with an untiring devotion to the betterment of mankind. She has taken her extensive experience, background and knowledge and has presented her vital message through speeches and training sessions at over one hundred and fifty venues per year. She currently serves as the President of Lionheart Institute, a global think tank, dedicated to finding solutions to world problems from leadership, health, economy, infrastructure and education to political systems. She is also the Founder and President of Angel Light Academy, an Arizona and California non-profit corporation, which successfully teaches leadership traits to at-risk youth and Unconditional Love to adults combining the concepts of science and applied psychology.
