Julie Blitzer is the Digital User Experience Manager for Design Group Italia in Milan, Italy and a graduate of Domus Academy's Master in Interaction Design, where she is a Visiting Lecturer. She has experience working on a variety of interfaces, including apps, websites, interactive installations, and even home appliances.

She has worked as an independent User Experience Consultant for digital agencies, startups and technology companies, and helps companies better understand and serve their audiences through research, design and a unique interdisciplinary background in politics, business, and mathematics. In the past, she worked as a UX Designer for UbiquityLab, Experientia, JOOR, AppNexus and UX Lead for Advomatic.

She has taught for General Assembly, Google for Entrepreneurs, a mentor for Thinkful, Girls Who Code and StartupWeekend NYC, Milano & Torino. She often speaks at conferences, including World Usability Congress, SXSW Interactive (2010, 2011 & 2018), DroidCon Torino 2015, IxDA's interaction14, Netroots Nation, IPDI's Politics Online and Organizing 2.0.
