Julie is the CEO of Girls Lead Worldwide, a best-practice global consultancy specializing in supporting leading companies, colleges, girls' schools, organizations and programs with the incorporation of leadership development best-practices. As a speaker, author and consultant she supports the world’s leading organizations including the United Nations Foundation’s Girl Up Program, The Women Economic Forum, Girl Scouts, Young Women Lead, Girls Inc., Future Business Leaders of America as well as best-practice-focused girls' schools and women’s colleges through innovative and neuroscience-based leadership keynotes, seminars, curricula, and best-practice program consulting.
Because of her work as a renowned expert for girls and young women in leadership development, Julie is one of only 100 people worldwide to be named as one of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches, along with the Dean of Harvard Medical School, the President of the World Bank, and the head of the Rockefeller Foundation. She is also a Fellow at The Institute of Coaching at McLean/Harvard Medical School.
Julie has been featured on NBC’s Today show, The Education Channel and in the New York Times. Julie has also shared her message with millions on national television as a young women’s confidence and success coach on MTV’s Emmy award-winning positive goal setting show for teens, “MADE” and even received an Emmy-Nomination. Julie’s award-winning book, BeYOUtiful launched at the National Girl Scouts Leadership Institute and won a National Moonbeam Book Award as one of the best books on mind/ body/ self-esteem for girls. Her book, Girls Lead–because of worldwide support from girls, parents, and professionals–launched to #1 bestseller status in less than 24 hours, proving that girls and those who care about them want and deserve better than the often negative and unhealthy media culture that can continually undermine girls and their abilities to confidently lead.
