Uniquely, Julie holds the title as the most frequent guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and appeared on NBC’s Today Show regularly discussing animals and conservation. Julie also traveled the globe for years with Jack Hanna, appearing in his weekly show Animal Adventures.

Julie has been recognized for her work with an Emmy, an industry lifetime achievement award, US Fish & Wildlife Service Directors Award for Conservation and a collegiate Hall of Fame. Julie co-authored Wildlife Heroes highlighting 40 conservationists and their work to save imperiled species and solve critical conservation issues.
