Speech Topics

Mental Health

As someone who has experienced the darkest depths of mental illness and survived THREE suicide attempts, I understand firsthand the pain and despair that can accompany mental health challenges. But I also know that recovery and healing are possible, and that by sharing my story, I can help others find the hope and strength they need to overcome their struggles.

In my talk, I will share my personal journey of healing and recovery, including the highs and lows, the setbacks and breakthroughs, and the strategies and tools that helped me get to where I am today. I will discuss the importance of seeking help, building a support network, and developing self-care practices that nurture both body and mind.

Drawing on the latest research and best practices, I will also explore the broader issues of mental health and wellness, including the stigma and shame that often surround mental illness, the importance of destigmatizing mental health challenges, and the role of self-compassion and empathy in healing.

My talk will be honest, vulnerable, and deeply inspiring, providing hope and encouragement to anyone struggling with mental health challenges or supporting someone who is. By sharing my story, I hope to help others find the strength and resilience they need to navigate their own journey of healing and recovery.

Self-Love for Men and Women

Yes, it is an anomaly to see a woman talking to men about self love and that is why I do it. The topic of self-love for men is about promoting and encouraging men to prioritize their mental and emotional well-being. It involves addressing common societal expectations and pressures that men face, such as the need to appear strong and self-sufficient, and encouraging them to embrace vulnerability and self-care practices. By learning to accept and love themselves, men can improve their relationships, increase their resilience, and live more fulfilling lives.

Self-love for women involves challenging societal expectations and pressures that women face, such as the pressure to look a certain way or fulfill traditional roles, and encouraging them to embrace self-compassion, self-care practices, and positive self-talk. By learning to accept and love themselves, women can improve their self-esteem, increase their resilience, and lead more fulfilling lives.
