Mark Kiessling, known by his stage name, Jumex, is a rapper, singer, songwriter, and guitarist originally from Chicago, Illinois.

Jumex grew up listening to punk bands like Black Flag and Operation Ivy as well as blues, grunge, psychedelic rock, and emo. He cites David Bowie, Yung Lean, and Nirvana as his musical influences.

He released his first single, "Trapped," in late 2018. It went viral with three million streams and eight million views of the music video. His first EP, Loner, released in June of 2019, included the single "Loner," which netted 8 million streams and 7.5 million views in six months. Later in the same year, he released the videos for "Wish Me Death," "Alive In My Coffin" and "Billie Eilish," which is dedicated to the famous young singer.

Jumex's second EP, Lover, was released on November 15, 2019, followed by the videos of "Drugs" in early December and "City In The Snow" on Christmas Day.
