Justin Osofsky is the Chief Operating Officer of Instagram, where he leads operations and business development, and is responsible for helping the company scale globally.

Prior to his role at Instagram, Justin was Vice President at Facebook. He most recently led Global Operations and Corporate Development, working in close partnership with the product and policy organizations with the goal of creating a safe, inclusive community for people, businesses, and developers. Justin also oversaw mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and helped the company successfully integrate acquisitions and develop strategic opportunities across Facebook’s family of applications. Prior to this role, he also led the global media partnership team. He joined Facebook in 2008.

Prior to Facebook, Justin worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
