After completing his MS in Sport Performance and Human Biology, Justin sought out post graduate work in functional medicine. His 15 year career as a performance director in the NHL and NCAA, prepared Justin Roethlingshoefer for entrepreneurship after realizing that the holistic health solutions he had found a personalized solution to was just not an athlete problem but a human problem.

He founded Own It in 2021, and has become a multiple seven-figure coaching company that applies this health and performance philosophy to clients ranging from NHL stars, to Fortune 500 executives, to entrepreneurs looking to take that next step and realize true health. From sleeping better, to mental clarity, reduced anxiety, and increase in energy, he and his team have been providing n=1 solutions for over 10 thousand people the last 2 years.

He’s also the creator of the Own It App, which provides simple data collection, meaningful insights, and personalized plans to help users OWN their habits and improve recovery, health, and performance.
