1. Edward Copeland serves as senior pastor of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Rockford, Illinois. He earned a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California at Berkley, a Masters of Divinity from Golden Gate Theological Seminary in Mill Valley, CA, and a Bachelors of Arts in English/Rhetoric at the University of Illinois. He is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Copeland is the author of Riding in the Second Chariot, a guidebook for associate ministers and ministry leaders. He and his wife Starla have three children, William Jibri, Abeni, and Titus Omari.
