Kahi Lee
High-profile Interior Designer / TV Host
Kahi Lee has been called a "renaissance chick, interior design goddess and a leader of the new school." She has appeared on numerous television programs including Design on a Dime, Merge Renovate My Family, Ultimate Gamer, FreeStyle, and My Celebrity Home, numbering nearly 200 episodes in all. She has also made guest appearances on The Early Show on CBS, The Tyra Banks Show and Life and Style among others. Lee easily adapts to the tastes and attitudes of her wide-ranging audience and credits her demographic-defying designs and genuine passion for all things stylish for her television success. In just a few short years, she is fast becoming one of the most recognizable faces in lifestyle television programming.
Kahi Lee Lifestyle, a design firm specializing in high-end residential and commercial interior design. Working in both the United States and Asia, Lee's high-profile clients include actors, rock stars and multi-million dollar luxury high-rise residential developments. Lee's design style is reflective of her California lifestyle and multi-cultural upbringing. She loves the relaxed attitude of coastal living, the practical forms of California mid-century design, the rustic charm of Los Angeles' Spanish heritage and, of course, the bold glamour and amusing eccentricities of Hollywood. Lee also runs a 6,000 sq. ft. home furnishings factory in Los Angeles where she designs and manufactures custom one-of-a-kind pieces.
Lee is unlike most designers in that she can jump from board room to work room, roll up her sleeves and actually do some of the building and sewing herself. Her talents and style sensibility have been featured in USA Today, In Style, In Style Home, Surface, Seventeen, Extra TV and the E! network, among others. Lee was recently named one of Los Angeles' best interior designers by 944.
Lee began her career at the renowned Christie's Auction House where she landed a coveted position in the Contemporary Art department. She served as a MUSE advisory board member for the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and has penned articles on the subject of art and art exhibition.
In addition to her design ventures, Lee has a background in fashion and entertainment journalism. She has written and reported for The Book LA, SOMA and Star magazine and has interviewed celebrities, reviewed fashion trends and covered events like the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards. She continues to keep watch on the front lines of fashion and entertainment ensuring that her readers and viewers are always up to speed on the most current lifestyle trends.
