Karen is an accomplished executive with broad global experience leading the Human Resources function and partnering with CEOs to develop strategic and operational plans that solve critical business challenges and deliver results. She also has experience on private boards and as an Operating Partner in private investment. In her role as a Chief People Officer (CPO) for both large and mid-size public companies, Karen has played a key leadership role in addressing strategic business challenges that include scale and international expansion, aggressive growth, mergers and acquisitions and leading a company through an initial public offering (IPO). She is also a leader in building Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact strategies and Crisis Response plans such as the recent global implications of COVID-19. Karen’s leadership of the HR function has spanned multiple technology companies and a diverse set of industries that include hardware, semiconductors, software (SaaS) and services. She has led HR teams ranging up to 200 people and has also been responsible for the Workplace Resources, Global Real Estate and Corporate Marketing functions. She is international having lived in both the United Kingdom and Silicon Valley, California.
