Dr. Karin Kimbrough is the Chief Economist for LinkedIn Corporation. Prior to joining the LinkedIn Corporation in 2020, she served as the Assistant Treasurer for Google from 2017-2019 and the Managing Director and Head of Macroeconomic Policy at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2014-2017.

In addition, Kimbrough worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York as a Vice President and Director for the Financial Stability Monitoring Function in the Markets Group from 2010-2014 and as a Manager for Analytical Development from 2005-2010. She was also an Economist and Strategist at Morgan Stanley from 2000-2005.

Kimbrough serves on the board of directors for Fannie Mae, is an advisor to 3x5 Partners, and serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago's Academic Advisor Council and the Economic Advisory Panel of the New York Fed. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University, a master's from Harvard and a Ph.D. from the University of Oxford.
