Karl Wendt  

Doctoral Student, Harvard University

Karl Wendt is a Rothenberg doctoral fellow at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. His research has focused on systems and practices that could improve public education. Prior to becoming an educator, he earned several patents for innovations in product design and engineering. As a teacher, his students created unique robotics projects that have been featured on the BBC and at Maker Faire. He recently won first at the Yale School of Management business plan competition with Discover Create Advance (DCA), a web-based company devoted to making science come alive through engaging projects. He is currently completing his doctoral residency at Khan Academy.
