Kate Hudson is a Golden Globe Award winner and Academy Award-nominated actress, musician, producer, bestselling author, and Co-Founder of Fabletics. She garnered recognition for her roles in "Almost Famous," "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days", "Bride Wars," and "Music," the latter of which earned her another Golden Globe nomination. Her work extends to television, having had a recurring role in the TV series "Glee."
Hudson's filmography is broad and diverse, ranging from romantic comedies to thrillers and dramas. She has starred in notable films such as "Deepwater Horizon," "Marshall," "Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon," "Shriver," and "Knives Out 2." Aside from acting, she has also ventured into directing, having directed the short film "Cutlass" in 2007.
As a Co-Founder of Fabletics, Hudson launched her own line of workout clothes and activewear in partnership with online fashion retailer TechStyle Fashion Group. Beyond Fabletics, she is also an ambassador for WW and has developed her own fashion line with New York & Company's Soho Jeans collection. In 2019, Hudson expanded her business ventures into the beverage industry by launching King St., her gluten-free, non-GMO vodka.
A bestselling author, Hudson released her first book, "Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body" in 2016 and her second book, "Pretty Fun: Creating & Celebrating a Lifetime of Tradition" in 2017. She and her brother, Oliver Hudson, also host the podcast "Sibling Revelry."
Aside from her business and artistic endeavors, Hudson is also known for her charitable affiliations. Together with her mother, Goldie Hawn, she collaborated on a capsule collection, with 50 percent of net proceeds benefiting MindUP, a program within the Goldie Hawn Foundation. Her charitable involvements extend to numerous other organizations, including the United Nations World Food Programme, Baby2Baby, and Operation Smile.
In 2024, Hudson expanded her creative portfolio into the music industry. She signed a record deal with Virgin Music Group and released her debut single "Talk About Love" in January 2024, followed by "Live Forever" in March 2024, "Gonna Find Out" in April 2024, and her debut studio album, "Glorious," in May 2024.
