Emmy Award-Winning Comedian & Former Cast Member of "Saturday Night Live"

Kate McKinnon is Emmy Award-winning comedian, actress, musician and former cast member on “Saturday Night Live.” McKinnon is known for her spot-on impressions of Hillary Clinton, Justin Bieber, Lindsey Graham, Ellen DeGeneres, Kellyanne Conway and Robert Mueller. McKinnon began experimenting with accents when she was in fifth grade.

McKinnon is also known for her film roles as Dr. Jillian Holtzmann in the supernatural comedy Ghostbusters (2016), Mary Winetoss in the comedy Office Christmas Party (2016), Pippa in the comedy Rough Night (2017), and Morgan in the action comedy The Spy Who Dumped Me (2018), Yesterday (2019), and Bombshell (2019).

McKinnon has been nominated for nine Primetime Emmy Awards, including one for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics and eight for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, winning in 2016 and 2017.

McKinnon, who is originally from Sea Cliff, Long Island, is the first openly lesbian cast member on “SNL.” She holds a degree in theatre from Columbia University, where she co-founded a Tea Party, a comedy troupe that focuses on musical improv.
