Kate Miller

Co-founder & CEO at Miss Grass

Kate Miller is breaking down stereotypes around cannabis. The successful co-founder and CEO of Miss Grass is dedicated to educating on the science, the history and the culture of cannabis in the spirit of conscious consumption while making cannabis accessible to everybody.

The perpetuated stereotype about marijuana users, particularly around criminality and pot culture, sparked Miller’s interest in the cannabis industry. When she was diagnosed with the skin condition psoriasis, Miller began applying cannabis topically and it completely transformed her skin. While cannabis was becoming an important part of Miller's health routine, most of the products on the market did not represent her. That is when she founded Miss Grass whose pre-rolled joints wrapped in hot pink packaging are more Regina George and less Bob Marley. But above all, Miss Grass continues to put education at the forefront of the brand. By equipping consumers with the resources they need to be conscious consumers in the space, Miller is able to carry out their mission “to help the world get good at weed.” Miss Grass partners with a multitude of non-profits, particularly the Women's Prison Association, organization that empowers women to redefine their lives in the face of injustice and incarceration.

Introducing Miss Grass, the Goop of Cannabis
Long gone are the days of sketchy head shops billowing with nag champa. Over the past year, as recreational marijuana has become legal in, now, nine states, the culture around it has shifted from stoner bros to aesthetically minded users in search of health and wellness. In the process, the idea of the stoner has evolved, too, thanks to the demystification of cannabis use by brands like high-end vaporizers Ghost and Dosist; MedMen, the Apple store of weed, as it’s often referred to; Broccoli, an Instagram-friendly take on High Times for women; and most recently, Miss Grass.
