Social media guru, Kate, previously served as an associate producer for Condé Nast Entertainment, but left her job to pursue @CrazyJewishMom projects full time. In April of 2016, Ms. Friedman - Siegel’s first book, Mother, Can You Not?, chronicling life with her #CrazyJewishMom made the New York Times bestseller list. Since then, Friedman-Siegel has launched a podcast and advice blog, expanding her digital business while pursuing several exciting traditional media projects and working on her second book. Prior to joining Condé Nast, Kate studied English, creative writing, and theater at Princeton University.

Her mother, Kim, is an Emmy-nominated director of prime time television. Just a few of Ms. Friedman’s impressive credits include Beverly Hills 90210, Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and, Lizzie McGuire. Previously, Kim received a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and a Masters Degree in Directing from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU and is a graduate of the American Film Institute Director Program. More recently, Kim moved to East Coast from California, in order to more effectively nag her daughter.
