Katherine Mansted      

Executive Director of Cyber Intelligence at CyberCX; Senior Fellow in the Practice of National Security at the ANU National Security College

Katherine Mansted is the Executive Director of Cyber Intelligence at CyberCX, Australia’s leading cyber security company. In this role, she heads a global practice of intelligence analysts focused on detecting and preventing cyber threats to private and government organisations. Concurrently, Mansted is a lecturer and Senior Fellow in the Practice of National Security at the ANU National Security College. She commentates widely in the media on security and technology matters, and regularly briefs business and government leaders.

Mansted is a former fellow at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs and a former non-resident fellow at the Alliance for Securing Democracy at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Before that, Mansted practiced as a commercial solicitor with King & Wood Mallesons, served as a judge’s associate in the High Court of Australia, and worked as a ministerial adviser in the Australian Government.

Mansted holds a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she studied as a General Sir John Monash Scholar. She also holds a Bachelor of Laws / International Relations (Business) from Bond University.
