Katherine Ralston

Katherine Ralstons is a University of California, Davis Assistant Professor of Microbiology and Molecular Research.
Her current research interests include: Host-pathogen interactions in amoebic colitis; cell death and survival pathways. Ralston was recently awarded the 2016 Pew Scholar Award in the category of Biomedical Sciences for her work with amoeba cells.
Ralston received her BS in Genetics at UC Davis in 2001 and her PhD in Microbiology from UCLA in 2009.
