Kathleen Hassan is an author, motivational speaker and professional life coach who offers mothers and their teenage daughters heart-centered solutions to transform anxiety and insecurity into unshakeable confidence and empowered self-worth.

For over two decades she has helped thousands of girls break free from the trap of perfectionism and learn how to love and accept themselves – just the way they are. Author of the soon-to-be published YA novel, The 9 Lives of Kat, Hassan has also co-authored three other books; The Burning Heart of a Difference Maker, a collaboration of twelve youth speakers, Square Peg Round Hole, a body-image book for pre-teen girls and Life by Heart, an award-winning publication for writers. Creator of the Girls Voices Good Choices self-esteem curriculum and Buried Treasure, a social emotional program for middle school girls, Hassan’s after-school programs teach life skills to prepare girls to be strong, brave, bold and resilient.

Hassan was trained in Co-Active Coaching through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and certified in hypnosis and the science of the mind through the South Shore Center for Hypnosis and has studied energy healing and integrated wellness through various training programs in Boston. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Massachusetts and most recently graduated in 2019 with a second Bachelor Degree in Theology from Life Christian University. Since then, Hassan has launched Mad Love Ministries, an international, faith-based outreach that equips and empowers women and girls to walk boldly in the love of God as His beloved daughters.

She has served in Medellin, Colombia empowering young mothers to provide for their families and loving and healing girls that had been rescued from human trafficking. Also this year, Hassan founded Madly Loved: A Conference for Mothers and Daughters, with plans to take it nationally to communities and churches around the country.
