A graduate of Bowdoin College, Katie Benner was previously a staff writer at CNN/Money. From 2000-04 she was based in Beijing, China, where she held a variety of editorial positions at the South China Morning Post, Beijing Review, The Economist Group and Xinhau Financial Network. Katie also has done freelance work for The Boston Globe, The Far East Economic Review, The Portland Press Herald and other publications.
