Katie Couric is an award-winning journalist, Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) co-founder, and New York Times best-selling author of her memoir, "Going There." She is also founder of Katie Couric Media (KCM), which is actively involved in developing and producing a range of scripted and non-scripted projects. The female-driven company also works with brands that are aligned with its goal of creating premium content about socially relevant issues.

Couric’s acclaimed eponymous podcast features conversations with bold-faced names in politics, media and popular culture. Her documentaries include: "America Inside Out with Katie Couric," a six-part series for National Geographic; "Gender Revolution: A Journey with Katie Couric" for National Geographic; "Under the Gun," which aired on EPIX; and "Fed Up," available on iTunes, Amazon and YouTube. KCM’s project, "Getting There," a six-part web series for theSkimm, profiles well known and highly accomplished women.

In addition to "Going There," Couric is also the author of two children’s books and "The Best Advice I Ever Got: Lessons from Extraordinary Lives."

Couric joined CBS as the first woman to solo anchor an evening newscast after a 15-year run as co-anchor of NBC’s "Today" morning show. Her numerous awards include a duPont-Columbia, a Peabody, two Edward R. Murrows, a Walter Cronkite Award, and multiple Emmys. In 2004, Couric was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame. In 2023, Forbes named her to their "50 Over 50" list.

Couric is a breast cancer survivor.
