Katie Phang is the anchor of "The Katie Phang Show" on MSNBC each Saturday at 12:00pm EST. In addition to breaking news, Katie deftly covers the intersection of law, politics and culture on a national level.

Phang continues to leverage her insights as a trial attorney and provide on-the-ground reporting for live criminal trials and beyond. A former trial attorney, Phang began her television career as a legal contributor for NBC News and MSNBC. Her star quickly rose, and Phang was given her own show.

She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from Yale University, and her J.D. (Cum Laude) from the University of Miami School of Law. Phang also hosted the MSNBC special The Culture Is: AAPI Women.
