Katie Tsouros has a BA in Art History and Philosophy from University College Dublin and an MA in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art London. She has previously held positions at Artwise Curators and Sadie Coles HQ in London and the Rubicon Gallery and Irish Museum of Modern Art, Dublin. In 2010 (aged 25) she established KTcontemporary, a contemporary art gallery dedicated to exhibiting work by young, emerging Irish and international artists. She has produced over 14 exhibitions at the space working with over 30 artists, has curated exhibitions for Microsoft Ireland and Kinsale Arts Week and is chairing the judging panel for the 2012 Undergraduate Awards Creative Arts category. She is co-founder of artfetch.com, an ecommerce website that will globally select, curate, perpetuate and sell emerging contemporary art online. The full site will launch in early 2013 with a team of specialist curators who will provide expert knowledge, choosing the most promising up-and-coming artists from around the world and bringing the art stars of the future directly to you. Katie is also a member of Sandbox, the foremost global community of extraordinary young achievers below 30.
