NBC News Correspondent, Anchor of "MSNBC Live", Author of New York Times Best Seller “Unbelievable: My Front-Row Seat to the Craziest Campaign in American History”

Katy Tur is an anchor and correspondent for NBC News and MSNBC. She reports for all platforms of NBC News, including Today, NBC Nightly News, Meet the Press, and MSNBC.

During the 2016 U.S. Presidential race, Tur covered the Donald Trump campaign. Her 2017 book "Unbelievable" chronicled her experiences covering the Trump campaign and was a New York Times best-seller. She is currently anchoring MSNBC’s 2 P.M. weekday hour.

In her 2022 book, "Rough Draft: A Memoir," Tur details her parents achievements, as well as her relationship with them, while being raised as the daughter of parents as broadcast pioneers who often put themselves in harm's way.

Tur has worked for NBC since August of 2009, when she joined WNBC as a General Assignment Reporter. Prior to joining NBC, she was a local reporter in New York City at both WPIX and News 12 Brooklyn.
