Kay duPont

Motivational keynotes delivered as Mary Todd Lincoln. Professional editor and writing partner. Communication and writing breakouts

Associations, companies, and other conference groups worldwide have enjoyed and benefited from Kay's programs. She's a hit in both breakouts and keynotes with her mixture of enthusiasm, clean humor, group interaction and activities, professional visuals, and concrete substance.

Kay's goal is always to help your group improve their ability to connect with others, communicate, create professional impressions, and be more effective in their communication skills.

She's that rare blend of informative and inspirational speaker, as well as business trainer, and audiences like her as a person. She's the same on stage as off, and she works with all types of groups—sales, clerical, management—in all types of fields.

Kay enjoys both large and small conference audiences and training groups—10 to 1000. In all the speaker spots—keynotes, after-meal functions, breakouts, general sessions, and spouse groups—Kay duPont is lively, humorous, energetic, down-to-earth, and believable.

She does her homework for all her speeches, training, and educational sessions. All her presentations—no matter what the timeframe—are customized through management, participant, and sometimes even customer interviews. And she always tries to arrive at your meeting ahead of time to get to know your people, ask questions, and get a feel for their concerns.

As a speaker on writing skills, there is no better. Kay is the primary editorial consultant for TCC, working with organizations such as Coca-Cola, BellSouth, Turner Broadcasting, and MetLife. And she's the author of three popular business books: Don't Let Your Participles Dangle in Public! (revised September 2005), Business Etiquette and Professionalism, and Diversity in the Workplace: Communication is the Key and her novel, Loving Mr. Lincoln: The Personal Diaries of Mary Todd Lincoln, is historical fiction at its finest. Her newest book, Writing for the College-Bound Student, is a nominee for the 2005 Georgia Author of the Year in Self-Help.

In addition, Kay was named by Successful Meetings magazine as one of America's top women presenters and she's listed in Who's Who of American Women.

Kay's a Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and dedicated to the professional ethics of National Speakers Association. She's also a Certified Professional Development Trainer (CPDT), a rating that recognizes mastery of training knowledge and classroom performance as defined by the International Board of Standards for Training, Performance, and Instruction.

She has coached some of America's top executives and consults regularly with dozens of Fortune 500 companies. Smart, yes, and also funny; Kay has performed stand-up comedy and emceed many special events.
