Licensed contractor and 2009 Stud Finder winner Kayleen McCabe found her passion for remodeling after tackling an entire kitchen renovation in her early twenties. On DIY Network’s "Rescue Renovation," Kayleen saves project-challenged homeowners who are in over their heads with their renovations. She points out exactly what went wrong and formulates a seven-day action plan to turn bad jobs into jaw-dropping rooms.

McCabe is also an ardent advocate of trade careers and education, long seen as inferior to traditional four-year college degrees and white-collar jobs. Her goal is to shed light on the rising demand for trade professionals that’s outpacing vocational training – and to help restore America’s respect for the trades in the process.
