Their best-known songs include hits like "Get Down Tonight," "That's the Way (I Like It)," and "Keep It Comin' Love," which helped them secure five number-one singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Over the years, the band's work has not gone unnoticed. They were nominated for Grammy Awards in 1976 and 1977, and won Album of The Year at the 21st Annual GRAMMY Awards. The band received a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on August 2, 2002. Further recognition came in 2013 when they were honored with a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars. Apart from making music, the band has also made appearances in films such as the 2003 remake of "The In-Laws."

Harry Wayne Casey, also known as KC, reformed the band in 1991, and together they released the album "Oh Yeah!" in 1993. Their creative output continued into the new millennium with albums like "I'll Be There For You" in 2001 and "Yummy" in 2007. The band's influence on the music scene was further solidified with the premiere of a musical titled "Who Do Ya Love?" at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2024, which is currently in production for future release.
