Keach Hagey is a media reporter at the Wall Street Journal, the Media and Marketing Bureau in New York. Her coverage areas include media companies like Time Warner, 21st Century Fox and Viacom, as well as the rise of online video.

Hagey was part of the team that won a 2016 "Best in Business" award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers for their coverage of the power struggle inside Viacom.

Before joining the Journal, she covered media for Politico, The National newspaper in Abu Dhabi, CBSNews.com and the Village Voice. Her first newspaper job was at the Queens Chronicle, where she was sent out to cover a murder within five minutes of arriving in the office her first day.

She has an MA in English Literature and BA in English and French from Stanford University.
