Keegan-Michael Key is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Key co-created and starred in Comedy Central's Emmy Award-winning sketch series "Key & Peele" and co-starred in USA Network's "Playing House." He stars alongside SNL's Cecily Strong in Apple TV's "Schmigadoon."

He spent six seasons as a cast member on Mad TV and has made guest appearances on the U.S. version of "Whose Line is it Anyway?" on The CW. Key also appeared in the first season of the FX series "Fargo" in 2014 and had a recurring role on "Parks and Recreation." He hosted the U.S. version of "The Planet's Funniest Animals" on Animal Planet from 2005 until the series' end in 2008. He hosted SNL for the first time in May 2021. Key starred in Netflix's "Friends from College." Key has had supporting roles in several films, including Pitch Perfect 2 and Toy Story 4.

In 2015, he appeared at the White House Correspondents' Dinner as the character Luther, President Barack Obama's anger translator. He produced and starred in the 2016 film Keanu with his Key & Peele co-creator Jordan Peele. In 2017, Key made his Broadway debut in Steve Martin's Meteor Shower.
