Keenan Wyrobek

Founder and Head of Product & Engineering, Zipline

Keenan Wyrobek is the Founder of Zipline, a company that uses drones to deliver health and medical supplies to hard to reach areas. Zipline is based in Rwanda, where people in remote places sometimes struggle to get the medical supplies they need. Wyrobek aims to cut down on the huge number of fatalities due to lack of access to supplies.

Zipline is the first drone delivery service, having launched its operations in Africa in 2016. The company only delivers blood to hospitals currently, but Wyrobek hopes to expand its services as the company grows. Zipline plans to next expand its reach to Latin America.

Wyrobek was also the director of the Personal Robotics Program at Willow Garage and holds patents for medical robotics technologies.
