These include being a 2× Quarterback of the Year and 2× First-team All-American, as well as receiving the WAC Offensive Player of the Year and MWC Offensive Player of the Year awards. Beyond these achievements, he was also a finalist for the Manning Award in 2009 and was named the Touchdown Club of Columbus Quarterback of the Year in 2010.
