Kelly Fields is a pastry chef and the Chef Owner of Willa Jean, a restaurant and bakery. In 2019, she received the James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef. Fields opened Willa Jean in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2015. The restaurant combines pastries and traditional comforting soul food. It has earned national recognition, and before winning the Outstanding Pastry Chef Award in 2019 Fields was nominated for the award for four consecutive years.
