A tale of two cities, Kelly, a local native of Hagerstown Maryland spent his childhood and early adolescence growing-up in the notorious Congress Heights area of Washington DC. Birthed of this experience, Kelly pens messages of hope, redemption and salvation.

Kelly Wright is a general assignment reporter for Fox News Channel (FNC), based in the Washington, D.C. bureau. He is also a co-host on "America's News Headquarters" on Saturdays. Wright previously served as a co-host on "Fox & Friends Weekend." Wright is a busy and talented man. Aside from working at Fox, he is also a pastor and motivational speaker, wherein he tells the circumstances of his unplanned conception, along with his musical gifting.

Wright was conceived in rape when his mother then 16 years of age, was taken advantage of by a pastor. She was offered an abortion, even though it was illegal at the time, which she declined.

Kelly has been the opening act or featured on many shows with top recording artists such as: James Brown, Shirley Ceasar, Vicki Winans, Dottie Peoples, Mississippi Mass Choir, Ron Kenoly, and more. Kelly has performed in Paris, France...Benin, West Africa... and Baghdad, Iraq.
