Kenneth A. Rethmeier’s Main Accomplishments Include . . .
Dr. Kenneth Rethmeier is founder of The Rethmeier Group, a consulting firm dedicated to helping companies design their future through organizational learning and the pursuit of sustained superior performance, innovative thinking and profound strategic change. The principal author of A Guide for Assessing and Improving Health Status, Ken Rethmeier earned a doctorate of public health (Dr.PH) degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and holds an appointment there as an Adjunct Professor of Health Policy & Analysis. He is a former senior vice president at Wachovia Corporation where he spearheaded the creation of Wachovia’s Executive Leadership Program at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at UNC, Chapel Hill and served as the Director of the Wachovia Center for Learning. In the latter role, he was responsible for the management of employee education, leadership development and educational assistance. Dr. Rethmeier’s 30-year-career in health care includes 22 years on active duty as a health care administrator of the U.S. Navy, where he retired as a Captain, Medical Service Corps.
